Kenji Ono is a veteran video game journalist. Kenji is Japanese, born in 1971, and after graduating from college he became an editor for a video game magazine. He then became a freelance video game journalist in 2000. He covers various video game events, interviews industry professionals, and writes articles. He is also a member of "Gamewriter.jp", a video game news site.
Kenji is also one of the key figures in the Japanese game developer community. Kenji was the first President of International Game Developers Association Japan chapter, and continues to oversee its operations as secretary general. Kenji has organized numerous seminars for game developers. In recent years, he is teaching game design and marketing as a college docent.
